Clavion Connect for Google Workspace Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Google Workspace integration that Clavion Labs, a trade name of Clavion Arts LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("Clavion Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), builds and operates for you ("you" or the "Client"). By authorizing the integration to connect to your Google account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The integration is a private software connection that allows the automations Clavion Labs builds for you to work with your Google Workspace data, as defined in your engagement with us. Depending on your workflow, this can include Gmail (reading, organizing, drafting, and sending email, and basic settings), Drive (finding, reading, organizing, sharing, copying, and exporting files), Docs (reading, creating, and editing documents), Sheets (reading and writing spreadsheet data), and Chat (reading and posting messages in spaces and viewing space membership). The integration accesses your Google data only to perform the functions you have authorized, and it cannot permanently delete your Gmail or Drive data.

2. Authorization and access

You authorize the integration through Google's OAuth 2.0 consent screen. You represent that you are authorized to grant access to the Google account in question. We access only the data permitted by the scopes you approve, and we use it solely to operate the agreed automation.

3. Google API compliance and limited use

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you authorized, do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except where you give consent, where required for security or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

4. Data processing and privacy

In operating this integration, Clavion Labs processes your Google data as a processor acting on your behalf and under your instructions, and only to provide the service. Our handling of personal data, including legal bases, international transfers, retention, and your privacy rights, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own Google account and for the data within it. The integration acts based on the inputs and approvals provided by your team. You are responsible for reviewing the output of the automation before relying on it.

6. Disconnection

You may revoke access at any time from your Google Account's security settings, under the apps with access to your account. On revocation, the integration can no longer access your Google data. On disconnection, or on request, Clavion Labs deletes the stored connection and credentials for your account from our systems.

7. Intellectual property

The integration, including its software and configuration, is the property of Clavion Labs and is licensed to you for use as part of your engagement, not sold. Your Google data remains yours. Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Chat, and Google are trademarks of Google LLC; Clavion Labs is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

8. Warranty and liability

The integration is provided under the terms of your engagement with Clavion Labs. To the extent permitted by law, and except as otherwise stated in a signed agreement between us, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and Clavion Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. A signed engagement agreement between you and Clavion Labs, where one exists, governs in the event of any conflict with these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where a signed engagement agreement between you and Clavion Labs specifies otherwise.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
