What Clavion Connect does
Clavion Connect is the bridge between QuickBooks Online and the systems your team works in every day. Once it is in place, the repetitive accounting tasks your staff would otherwise do by hand happen automatically. Depending on your workflow, that can mean automatically creating estimates and invoices, matching and updating inventory, recording expenses, and applying the correct customer, class, and tax, then returning finished documents for review. You stay in control of what posts: because this is your financial data, the automation can hold for your approval before anything is written to QuickBooks.
What it accesses
- Your customers, products and services, and classes, to match work to the right QuickBooks records
- Your transactions, such as estimates and invoices, to create and update them and retrieve the formatted documents
- Your company and tax detail, to apply the correct sales tax
What it never does
- We never sell or share your QuickBooks data with third parties
- It does not access your payroll, banking, or payments data
- It posts financial records only after your review and approval
How your connection is set up
Clavion Connect is provisioned for you as part of your Clavion Labs engagement. During onboarding, a QuickBooks Online administrator on your team authorizes the connection through Intuit's standard secure authorization screen, using a link we provide to you directly. Clavion Labs never sees or stores your QuickBooks login credentials. You can disconnect at any time from the Apps page inside your QuickBooks Online account.
